Difference in the shade of colour behind? More coats may sort it?

Should be easy enough with a jig-saw and good hand eye co-ordination, I did about 20 in one go (for when I fit my coaches with removeable roofs) and it only took about an hour
Those coaches should look good when they are finished, I like the colour scheme look forward to seeing them running _________________ The Killer Bunny's on the loco - Don't Panic!

I have a cheap scroll saw in my shed. Fantastic bit of kit for cutting stuff out, especially if you need curves as its so easy to do it. Get them for about £40/50 (well mine was!). _________________ Cheers,

fantastic mate, I like the sound of lighting! Rig up your Edrig lamp, and those and a taillamp, and go play in the dark! _________________ Cheers,

I remember having to build 4 of them beggers with removeable roofs. I hated every second of it and never touched a carrige kit again. Best of luck though and hope they turn out all right. _________________ http://www.freewebs.com/pinetreelightrailway/index.htm
I don't understand why more manufacturers don't design their kits with removable roofs in mind. If I'd built my GRS Wisbech & Upwell coach as per the instructions I wouldn't be able to remove the bogies for maintainence - as I have needed to do on more than one occasion! But on the whole I am a very satisfied IP customer, and it looks like you've made a good job of those kits so far Andy, so don't give up!

I know what you mean - I had a Tal-y-lin open third four wheeler from Tenmille. Firstly it was a little tall so the sides got shortened, and putting plastic overlays for detail on a nice wooden coach did not seem quite right, so I bought some wood strip and used that for the detail instead. It also meant I could have doors on both sides too!
After that I realised that making a coach from scratch was only going to take marginally longer, so for the next coach that is what I did.
I think Andy is doing a marvelous job mind!
