are these tram IP kits easy to make? as wouldnt mind one and i wouldnt say im the best person at making kits...
Henrietta was based on a carriage like that used as the Buffet Car in Titfield Thunderbolt.
NNR (where i volunteer) has a sister carriage which is currently undergoing restoration, it has 4 wheels per bogie so Henretta would be an 8 wheeler although in the TV stories she is portrayed as a 4 wheeler, not sure about the railway series?, gosh its confusing

"It's really perfectly simple", as Basil Fawlty might say...
The Wisbech and Upwell tramway ran two types of coach. The earlier vehicles were four-wheelers; this type was the model for Henrietta in both the railway series books and the Thomas the Tank Engine TV series. However, the last two W&U coaches, Nos. 7 and 8, had longer bodies and were therefore fitted with bogies.
These drawings should make the difference clear (posted for educational purposes only, etc, etc):
Hope this helps |

Or, a W&LLR Pickerings coach BUT with four wheels. We could have a career for designing coach kits _________________ Think I'm barmy cos I want a Ford Capri?

Pickering coach would look daft as a four wheeler. They are really BIG! _________________ Matt: Some of us like it dirty...

Tell me about it, I had to unpack two of them in the shop. The worst part was manhandling them into a small space for display _________________ Call me an anorak, I don't care |

Don't worry, soon health and safety will be having you life them with a small crane and do a risk assesment before you move them. _________________ Cheers, Pete
