The ANLR's workshop is so emabarassingly messy i'm not going to post a pic, indeed I don't use it as I just can't work down there, so I tend to do modelling on the lounge table, which gets me told off occasionally... As for stock storage, i've got stuff all over the place, some in my bedroom, some in the workshop which is on rails to be run straight outside

Don't worry - you're not alone! At least all my stock's neatly stored away - locos live in the house! I sometimes resort to the kitchen work surfaces for jobs but i don't get told off (too much) - after 38+ years, my wife knows what to expect!

Slightly simular situation here!

My workshop ddesk is meant to be for schoolwork, and now I've had to invade the living room table for that!, and when the parents are out, I may sneak back upstairs to carry on with a job that I've got!

The only thing that I have made room for my laptop only!, I think that's the part that's annoyed them!

Since I tidied up my workshop and put a telly in it Iv been spendign a lot more time in there because having a telly helps create a very relaxed atmosphere, your having a difficult time getting something to work and getting all hot headed and tempered just put on some standup and have a laugh and relax.

well I go tto think why not hook up a spare game unit to it
anyone here who knows me well will know that I have an interest in old school gaming (early 90s and 80s) and I had an NES unit going spare because my bedroom telly cant take anymore systems (its got a playstation 2, Sega megadrive and a couple more obscure consoles hooked up right now)
anyway now I can sit back on me workshop stool and play NES

nothing quite like a bit of Contra

I finally got some pics of my workshop...

My workbench that I built at school!

Old kitchen units ripped out from the house when doing it up, with my Draper pillar drill and Fern scroll saw on (which I use the most, the other tools are stored in the cupboards).

Then as seen before, but with more in!

Goddmam Im jealous of your workshop!

it looks massive, how many rooms?  if only I had the land and could afford something like that
