There is that option, but that means it won't comply with my non-existant livery scheme!
(the livery scheme is meant to be maroon(ish)) |

| don't worry mine is supposed to be deep blue locos with teak carriages, so far I have only one teak carriage (the rest were painted olive and cream before the livery was decided) and one blue loco! |

yeah, i think my ones going to end up as that, as I am getting 2 15 year old mamod locos (one I'm selling on) and the one that i'm keeping is blue, so I may re-name my current Britomart which is green to the blue one
or
swap the side tanks and cab so it is blue
but were sort of going off topic here..... |

Same here, and an LNER, as I loike some of the streamlining of the A4's
(Like streamlining and astetically pleasing locomotive designs )
But my dad worked as an apprentice in Swindon railway works before it all started to close down. |

| I think they look better in black. |

The gentleman raises a good point- were they ever made in colours other than red and green from the factory?
Mine was supposed to be black, well, black boiler as a running chassis anyway. They look very smart actually... I'm not complaining about my freebie green upgrade though! |

I've noticed the PTLR (or whoever owns it) Black Edrig on youtube, it does look quite nice, but I don't think it would fit in with my (non)existant railway
I have found this website and I do take a shine to the blue Edrig make-over kit!:

| Ahh- but you'll have to paint the boiler blue for that to work! |

...and, not trying to be harsh to them, but I personally think the waterslide transfers on steam locos aren't a great idea, because if you get them slightly wet it wrecks the transfer...
