A few years ago, I purchased the Playmobil radio controlled bright red diesel/electric loco.
and For the last two years I have been deciding what livery to paint it into, the main two was GNER and National Express East Anglia.
The loco can be seen here last winter, after i painted on the yellow warning panels

Then in August this year I remembered that Hornby/Humbrol had re-released the Authentic Railway Colours range...
So I decided to paint the loco into BR Diesel blue.
I made a start this week, and half the loco and cab ends have been painted, since the pic was taken I have given it another 2 coats... will take some pics of it outside on Sunday
Once the other side of the loco is done, i will need to purchase some gauge one Fox tranfers of the white BR double arrow logo...

Great stuff, better then either of the the other choices although I would have preffered GNER to NXEA, it was one of the few privertisation TOC's that got it right, even if only briefly _________________ The Killer Bunny's on the loco - Don't Panic!

Wow that's looking cool! Perhaps cut out some big holes on the sides and fill in with mesh to look like radiators etc...?
Oh, and 2 smoke generators pointing diagonally out the top... _________________ Cheers, Pete

<tongue in cheek>
If you're putting mesh in the radiators and smoke units in, why not go the whole hog and fit a Deltic sound unit??
